Who Are We

One of the top quantitative hedge funds in China

Chengqi Funds founded in September 2013, is a member of Securities Association of China(SAC) and an observation member of Asset Management Association of China, and has obtained the qualification of private investment fund manager.

One of the longest history of quantitative hedge funds in China’s A-share market.

Chengqi Funds has nearly 11 years of investment experience in A-share market and domestic futures market, and has officially issued public products as a fund manager for nearly 8 years. CQ Funds has excellent performance, and has opened consignment products and direct investment products in many banks and securities brokers, creating steady returns for customers for many years. By the end of 2021, the scale of various types of assets under management exceeded RMB 40 billion and continue to grow.

The core members of the research team are graduated from first-class universities at home and abroad, they have rich experience, advanced concept, international hedge fund background and long-term domestic quantitative investment practice experience.

Wenqi He Founder Chairman, Management Director

Received bachelor's degree from Tsinghua University and master's degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Since 2008, he has successively held the posts of a senior researcher at Millennium Partners, an investment manager at Beijing JuniorChina Capital and a fund manager of Shenzhen Yurun Guoding Investment Co., Ltd.
Since 2008, he has been a senior researcher at Millennium Partners, an investment manager at Beijing Zunjia Asset Management Co.
In September 2013, he founded Shenzhen Chengqi Funds.
He has more than 10 years of long-term practical experience in the field of quantitative investment in domestic market, and has achieved stable returns beyond the index for investors.
Wancheng Zhang Core Copartner, Investment Director

Received bachelor's degree in physics from Peking University and doctoral degree in microelectronics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Since 2009, he has successively been a senior researcher, fund manager, manager director of China, global research director, chief research officer and member of investment decision-making committee in WorldQuant. He led a global R&D team of more than 300 members and led several major advanced research directions.
In 2020, he formally joined Chengqi Funds as the investment director.
He has been serving as a senior executive in investment and research direction in well-known overseas quantitative institutions for a long time, and has international cutting-edge quantitative research and large-scale management practice experience.
